- Treats each child with dignity and respect. Uses positive guidance techniques.
- Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students in line with the Mahara curriculum.
- Inspire mixed culture and ability classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunity for all children.
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum.
- Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students.
- Use a variety of different educational techniques (for example storytelling, playing games, media presentations etc.) to teach children.
- Observing each child and help them build social competencies and self-esteem.
- Establish essential agreement policy for inside and outside the classroom.
- Inspire and encourage children to communicate with each other and resolve occasional conflicts.
- Develop and maintain a constructive and on-going rapport with parents and children.
- Evaluates students’ academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports.
- Creating a portfolio by documenting process of learning, observations, and reflections for each child
- Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing.
- Oversee children in order to make sure they are safe.
- Liaise with the Curriculum Head to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom.
- Collaborate with other facilitators to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
- Contribute to the extra-curricular activities programme and participate in school activities such as events, workshops, etc.
- Meeting the deadlines of the management
- Ensuring run of the mill activities are not performed.
- Ensuring sustainability is always made sure while performing activities.
- Research on best schools in the world and activities performed by them and incorporating the same to Mahara.
- Following the suggestions made by HOC and HOA.
- Timely attendance
- Promoting the school in their personal socials/contacts and updating the socials
- DPR and deadline sheet to be updated on a daily basis.
- Hospitality of the parents physically/virtually
- Personal interaction with all the staff (Founder/Director/HOC/HOA/Facilitators/Nannies/Nurse/Driver/Maids etc) and resolving their issues on a timely manner (decent issue TBD with HOC, major TBD with director) and solution to be obtained within a month.
- Participating in any media/video interactions
- Videos and photographs to be captured of the class activities.
- Content creation/collection for social media channels
