Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will play a key role in executing a B2B sales approach to engage with K-12 schools. Your primary responsibilities will include building and nurturing strong business relationships, discovering and closing new business opportunities, and generating revenue through up-selling and cross-selling products to existing schools. The ideal candidate should possess excellent rapport-building skills and a passion for education and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships within the K-12 education sector.
  • Discover and propose potential business deals by proactively contacting potential partners and customers, and by exploring opportunities in the market.
  • Screen potential deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financial aspects.
  • Present compelling sales pitches to key stakeholders, showcasing a deep understanding of the products and services offered by Kafqa.
  • Focus on increasing revenue while ensuring maximum client satisfaction.
  • Successfully close the sales process, including managing legal formalities, documentation, and other administrative tasks.
  • Prioritize after-sales services by promptly identifying and resolving issues to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Place a strong emphasis on expanding the client base and retaining existing clients.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Institutional Sales, Sales, Business Development, Direct Sales
  • 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales/Institutional sales, preferably in the Education or EdTech sectors.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any business discipline.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly become an expert in educational services, products, and courses.
  • Strong command of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Education and Performing Arts Industry landscape and the current needs of teachers and school leaders.
  • Comprehensive experience in using CRM systems.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
