Position Summary
As an experienced Business educator (LINC Fellow), the candidate will work as an independent contractor of LINC and serve a diverse international student body for Masters-level programs studying at premier Australian and Asian universities. LINC Fellows will be the single point of contact for the unit in charge for student academic matters. The LINC Fellows will be contracted during each unit or subject which is expected to range between 7 to 14 weeks in duration.

The contract-based role offers a competitive remuneration typically between INR 60,000-100,000 per unit (based on unit duration, scope of work, committed weekly time, batch size and experience level of the LINC Fellow) when actively engaged, plus up to 40% performance-based incentives.

The role is part-time (15-20 hours per week) with scheduled weekend availability. Educators will have the flexibility to work from a location of their convenience.
Roles & Responsibilities
LINC Fellows will be responsible for providing:
- Academic guidance to a group of 25-30 postgraduate online students;
- Orientation and support in study planning;
- Support in report writing and research skills;
- 1:1 and small group tutoring sessions;
- Guidance on relevant reference material;
- Assessment marking;
- Feedback on work and assessments;
- Timely responses to student queries;
- Management of discussion forums; and
- Other activities which will improve student learning experience.
LINC Fellows will be expected to promptly interact with students over email, chat, and telephone from locations of their convenience (e.g. home, office etc.).
Desired candidate profile
- Doctoral degree in Mathematics /Statistics Management or Masters degree in M.A (Statistics), MSc (Applied Statistics), MS (Mathematics), MBA (Statistics/Maths)
- At least 5 years of work experience AND under-graduate or post-graduate level teaching experience (note: at least 1 year of teaching experience is a MUST) in the field of Introduction to Statistics, Graphing Data, Numerical Summaries, Probability, Hypothesis tests, Simple Linear Regression, Categorical Data Analysis and R Programming Language.
- Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality willing to work closely with people from diverse culture;
- Proficient in English language;
- Must possess a working laptop and have access to high-speed (>2 MBPS) stable internet connection;
- Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students including host university LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided)
