Head of Skilling and Placement unit is a critical role that is responsible for forging partnerships and building an ecosystem that is committed to provide a world class learning experience to the community youth.
We are looking for an experienced professional for the position of Head – Skilling & Placement who will lead the vocational skill development and placements for Lighthouses. The candidate will conceptualize, develop and forge partnerships with diverse stakeholders and manage external relationships.
Your role to supplement the Organisational goals:
Prepare an Annual Plan for Skilling & Placements for Lighthouses for Pan India locations.
Create and manage the budget – functional and operational both
Lead and drive successful end to end planning, delivery and execution of skilling initiatives/programs with different industry partnerships.
Networking & Partnerships
Establish National Level Tie-Ups with different organisations for selected sectors.
Establish connections with relevant Sector Skill Councils from a Placement & Skilling collaboration perspective.
Manage Govt. Stakeholders like MSDE, NSDC and deliver expectations based on lighthouse programs.
Actively participate in discussion forums, workshops, seminars and other appropriate events.
Skill Development:
Develop training curriculum as per the requirements of lighthouses.
Recruit well trained trainers/staff as per the requirements for Lighthouses.
Liaison with local skill development partners for smooth uptake and completion of skill training programs.
Ensure that our centres facilitate access to employment opportunities, job placements, tracking and post placement supports and sustainable livelihood options.
Work with internal teams to devise proposals and solutions for all Government funded/related projects
Resolve any issues and problems faced by the stakeholders in the partnership
Ensure effective and timely communications on relevant announcements, programs, and performance – with both internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts – monthly, quarterly and annually to internal and external stakeholders.
Play an integral part in generating new partners that will turn into long-lasting relationships
Any other work assigned by the line manager or organisation.
