Job Brief –

To accept a general leadership role associated with being a major contributor to the management of the School.
To line manage and carry out the performance management of the Physics subject
To support and encourage Heads of Departments and all staff in curriculum development.
To maintain an up-to-date set of schemes of work and syllabuses for all areas within the
To have oversight with the Heads of Department, Assistant Headteachers and Progress Directors for monitoring the total curriculum provision of each pupil in the school to ensure a balanced and appropriate curriculum.
Coordinate the administration of internal assessments and examinations, and entries for external examinations, within the Faculty.
To be responsible to the Headteacher and Deputies for the oversight of the allocation of resources.
