Job Description of Assistant Professor – Food & Beverage Service
(Immediate Joiner)

Reporting to – Facilitator Food and Beverage Service

Tasks and Activities

· Be well groomed as per industry standards.

· Planning of course curriculum allocated for the year.

· Liaison with industry to note industry inputs for the curriculum.

· As per norms using program outcomes create course outcomes, lesson plans and evaluation plans for the semester / year.

· Mapping of all outcomes with plans and objectives.

· Implement all lesson plans as per timetable in theory and practical.

· Complete and submit all academic paperwork and documentation punctually.

· Coordinate Outdoor Catering Duties for students.

· Coordinate and supervise afternoon service in the Restaurant.

· Organize and supervise special meal services

· Maintain attendance of each class and report to mentor about deviations.

· Check and correct grooming standards and attitudes of students.

· Carry out mentoring duties as assigned by the departmental head.

· Assist the housekeeping staff to maintain the cleaning of all public areas.

· Cleaning and maintenance of Restaurant and service areas.

· Liaison with industry to organize workshops and guest lectures for students.

· Conduct workshops for industry personnel as an outreach program.

· Organize events as per roles assigned during the academic year.

· Attend workshops and seminars to enable academic growth.

· Conduct research and submit papers for publication in reputed journals.

· Conduct examinations and officiate as invigilator internally and outside as per requirements of the government authorities.

· Any other duties that may be assigned by the institute.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹50,000.00 – ₹55,000.00 per month

Education:

• Master’s (Preferred)

Experience:
