Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials in various pharmacy-related courses.
- Create course materials, syllabi, and assessments that align with the college’s curriculum and learning objectives.
- Mentor and advise students, providing guidance on academic and career matters.
- Stay current with developments in the field of pharmacy and integrate new knowledge into teaching.
Research:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in areas related to pharmacy, pharmacology, or other relevant fields.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present research at conferences.
- Seek external research funding through grants and proposals.
- Supervise and mentor graduate students and research assistants in their research projects.
Service:
- Serve on departmental and college committees, participating in the governance and administration of the institution.
- Contribute to community outreach, engagement, and educational initiatives related to pharmacy.
- Maintain professional memberships and affiliations with relevant organizations.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
Professional Development:
- Pursue opportunities for continuous professional development, including attending conferences and workshops.
- Stay current with developments in pharmacy education and pedagogical techniques
Preferred candidate profile
Qualification – M. Pharm in Pharmacology
Experience – Minimum 2 years of relevant college teaching experience.
