Founder Profile

Arnav Kumar is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Leap is his second company and he has raised more than $30M in capital for his startups. In his last role, he was a VC investor with SAIF Partners (Now Elevation Capital), which is an early investor in paytm, meesho, urban company, unacademy and many other unicorns. Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)

We provide one stop solution for Study Abroad.

Leap Scholar is an end-to-end platform that is on a mission to make global education accessible for Indian students across the spectrum.

Leap Scholar was founded in 2019 by Vaibhav Singh and Arnav Kumar- alumni of IIT Kharagpur with executive experience at Deutsche Bank, InCred Financial Services. Leap Scholar has raised series D funding of $231 million till date and is backed by leading investors such as Sequoia Capital India,Owl Ventures, Harvard Management Company.

We are a team of young, enterprising leaders with experience working at some of India’s leading startups over the years.

Role Overview

We are looking for absolute sales rock stars who are comfortable with overseas education. This role will require them to be very comfortable with their screen presence and managing a large pool of students in their study abroad journey.

Key Responsibilities

1.Drive conversions in our lead pipeline through Voice and Non Voice Process.

2. Working together with counsellors in processing the application and Visa

3.Doing multiple follow ups with students and keeping the student engaged till visa.

4.Getting the feedback from students and helping them in clearing their doubts.

5.Working as a Bridge between Counsellor and Student.

6.Convincing the students to book IELTS exams with us.Pitch LeapScholar’s various offerings including IELTS, Counselling, Application Filing,Visa services, etc

Preferred Requirements

1. Minimum 2-4 years of proven sales track record and high ticket sales experience would be a bonus.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
