About the Role: The Role We are looking for a powerhouse professional for our Pune campus who can bridge the gap between complex algorithmic theory and real-world software engineering. As an SDE 3 + Senior Instructor, you will own the technical growth of our students while contributing to our internal engineering excellence. This role is ideal for someone who is a “problem solver at heart” and has a deep passion for teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced DSA Delivery: Lead high-impact sessions on complex topics, including Dynamic Programming, Graph Theory, String Algorithms, and Advanced Data Structures (Segment Trees, Fenwick Trees, etc.).
• Problem-Solving Labs: Conduct intensive coding labs to help students optimise code for time and space complexity, simulating real-world and competitive programming constraints.
• Curriculum Innovation: Collaborate with industry experts to ensure the DSA curriculum remains aligned with the evolving hiring standards of Tier-1 product companies.
• Competitive Programming Mentorship: Mentor students for prestigious competitions like ICPC, Google Hash Code, and Codeforces contests.
• System Ownership: Design and develop scalable features for NST’s proprietary learning platform or internal engineering tools.
• Code Quality: Set the standard for clean, modular, and well-documented code. Conduct deep-dive code reviews for both internal projects and student capstone projects.
• Technical Architecture: Work on high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD) to ensure system reliability as our student base scales globally.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 6+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with at least 2 years in a Senior (SDE 2/3) capacity at a product-based company.
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in C++, Java, or Python. Deep understanding of Multithreading, Concurrency, and Memory Management. Proven track record in solving 500+ problems on platforms like LeetCode, Codeforces, or CodeChef.
• Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science from Tier-1 institutions (IITs, NITs, IIITs, or equivalent).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to simplify abstract concepts and a high degree of empathy for student learning curves.

Required Skills:

• Competitive Background: Candidate is an ICPC Regionalist/Finalist or has a high rating (Candidate Master+) on Codeforces.
• Prior Mentorship: Experience as a TA, Instructor, or Speaker at technical bootcamps or universities.
• Full Stack Awareness: Familiarity with modern stacks (Node.js, React, or Go) and distributed systems.
