You would be leading a team of Engineering Manager, and Tech Leads for delivering scalable, robust, and performant products
We are looking for a VP of engineering to lead our engineering department and help us build great products.Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role): Build highly scalable Platforms
Ability to work in a fast-paced setup, deliver results, set up high standards for the team, and the ability to attract world-class talent.Responsibilities: -End to end ownership of the Product’s development, building reusable, testable, and scalable components, and products.Oversee Architecture & design of technically robust, flexible, and scalable solutions.Ownership for product delivery, performance, impeccable software quality, and configuration managementCreate a scalable system – Implement a consistent, regular process for system performance & security assessment and improvement. Identify system bottlenecks and solve critical problems with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.Improve quality & efficiency of product development lifecycle – Work closely with Engineering & Product Managers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
Evaluate and champion new technologies. Direct all engineering processes leveraging Agile approaches.Attract, hire, retain, motivate, and mentor entire engineering function.Build scalable platforms and manage high impact teams.Hire the best-in-class talent to build/expand high performance team.Work with various Technology and Business counterparts to drive the continuous improvements of the platforms.Ensure the engineering team understands the business direction and how each individual engineer’s work contributes towards the big picture of the product line and company offerings.Lead, manage and develop development teams that work across a diverse set of systems and languages. Skills & Experience:12+ Years of Software Development experience with 4 -5 years of Technical Leadership experience. (Preferred B2B experience/ Internet )Hands on coding Design experience with good understanding on enterprise level code.Be an inspirational leader with a passion to solve real problems.Deep technical knowledge in software, systems, and security to dive into details with engineers and distil to high level for executives, customers and non-technical audience.·Dynamic leader who has directly managed team of highly competent developers in fast paced work environment, Experience in building, leading & managing large multi-engineer projects and mentoring top-notch engineers.Experience in hiring and nurturing teams to become a top-notch high performing and motivated engineering team.Scaling the organization with strong leadership skills & outside-in approach.Bringing the Technical leadership to influence, guide & champion adoption of best practices to build scalable architecture though process.
