Training and Development Professionals plan, develop, implement and evaluate training and development programs to ensure staff acquire the skills and develop the competencies required by organizations to meet organizational objectives.

The Training and Development specialist has primary accountability for training for functional roles in charge of data file development. Secondary accountability is to support other functional areas located in Bangalore and globally, depending on the training need.

The Training and Development specialist will also perform day to day work of a functional role to support the operational teams. Lastly, they will also support the plan and strategy of the Global Data Management training organization, as established by the Training Global Lead.

This role will collaborate with the functional team on specified projects and/or tasks to develop and/or deliver necessary training and/or materials leading to rollout and maintenance.  The role acts as subject matter expert (SME) for the functional team.

Training and Development Specialist manage learning, transformation and growth toward desired outcomes including but not limited to leading functional projects and participating to strategic efforts.

Design, Develop & Maintain:                  

• Identify training needs and requirements of individuals and organizations and apply best practices toward enhanced learning (design, delivery methods, materials, etc.)
• Prepare, develop or maintain instructional training material and aids such as handbooks, visual aids, online tutorials, demonstration models, and supporting training reference documentation
• Coordinate, schedule and conduct training and development programs that can be delivered in the form of individual and group instruction.
• Document control – support or maintain the development of formal documentation (standard operation procedure(s) and work instruction(s)) and informal documentation
• Onboarding: design training plan and material: organization, creation, delivery, maintenance
• Continuing Education: design training plan and material: organization, creation, delivery, maintenance. 

Training Delivery & Evaluation

• Partner with SMEs, Mentors and local management, toward the achievement of successful, compliant and consistent training
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, demonstrations and conferences
• Plan, monitor and perform ongoing evaluation and assessment of training quality and effectiveness, report results to Global Training Lead and local management
• Liaise with external training providers to arrange delivery of specific training and development programs as per training needs

Initiatives

• Participate to initiatives related to global training
• Participate to meetings, brainstorming, or any relevant interaction led by the global training lead
• Suggest, drive or participate to training enhancement

Day to Day Work

• Perform day to day operational work to support the teams
• Day to day work depends on operational needs and functional role competencies of the Training and Development Specialist
