You’ll champion Kwalee values, strategic intentions, goals and objectives across all disciplines, supporting departmental leaders in the attainment of high quality work output.Your Team MatesYou will work closely with senior leaders in all departments to help facilitate the smooth running of the studio and help create brilliant and highly successful computer games.What Does The Job Actually Involve?Collaborate with departmental leaders, understanding business objectives, targets, and deliverables.Provide local “on the ground” support, guidance and management oversight across all functions, maintaining the highest standards and promoting an excellent work ethic across the workforce in India.Support line management activities for remote departmental leaders as needed, working as part of a matrix management structure. Champion company policies, and procedures at all times.Manage all aspects of the facility in Bangalore, ensuring the office is secure and maintained as a great place to work. Ensure the facility is maintained and manage health and safety risks. Liaise with the landlord and contractors as needed.Manage the local facility budget. Provide management oversight for local overhead expenditure.Collaborate with technology and other business leaders to define and maintain a business continuity plan.Provide regular input and insight to the Kwalee leadership team, keeping them informed about matters relating to business operations in Bangalore.Provide input to budget planning activities.Provide support in the onboarding of new employees, succession planning initiatives, and other initiatives launched by Human Resources.Maintain awareness of developments in the field of game design and game publishing.Provide an extra pair of hands at management level, as neededYour Hard SkillsExperience as a General Manager of a large office in a technology or related industry.Experience working within non-native companies, e.g UK, EU,US based.Experience working with senior leadership teams to guide, develop and lead a business.A positive, “can-do” attitude and great time and task management skillsBudget responsibility experienceExpert in business operations and able to develop, advise and implement new operational proceduresYour Soft SkillsKwalee has grown fast in recent years but we’re very much a family of colleagues.
