About the Role

KodeKloud is seeking an experienced Video Editor for our curriculum team that currently has 70+ courses. You will be helping us scale our channel to a Million of subscribers by creating top quality content and help educate millions of viewers while at it.

 

Responsibilities – What will you do:

* Edit video’s produced by trainers aligned with KodeKloud standards to ensure they are published according to to the curriculum framework for the course. 

* Ensure the videos produced are top quality

* Work with animation and graphic designers for creating videos, transitions and other visuals

* Manage end-to-end production from storyboarding, editing and post-production. Scripting and shooting will be taken care of by trainers/instructors.

* Monitor the performance of videos uploaded, including analytics and metrics

* Establish workflows for video production and maintain a library of assets created

* Create other online content such as infographics, webinars, podcasts etc. as required

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that brand standards are met in all video materials created.

* Be up to date with the latest video technologies, trends in the industry and innovations for improving the overall user experience.

* Develop an understanding of the target audience and produce content tailored to them.

* Create templates/process that can speed up video editing efforts

 

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

* 3-5 years experience in Video Editing

* Expertise in Camtasia/ Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro (preferably Camtasia)

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Must be creative and able to think outside the box when producing content.

* Ability to take direction and be flexible with changes in projects.

* Ability to understand content and apply appropriate cuts/transitions at the right places

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
