What is the role?

We are looking for enthusiastic, imaginative, creative and dedicated teachers, based in Mumbai & Bangalore, who will be responsible for nurturing and developing the knowledge, abilities, and social skills of children. This position will report into the Principal/ Centre head.

The responsibilities for this position will be:

Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social aspect of the students.

Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children

Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem

Track children’s progress and update parents

Collaborate with fellow educators

Attend all necessary training imparted by the school.

To take part /assist/help in any school event or events that may be done for the promotional benefit of the school.

Team work is of prime importance for the school and you may be required to substitute or teach additional classes when required.

Requirements

Prerequisites:

Formal Education in Early Education / Montessori.

Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in preprimary teaching. Freshers may be considered for Assistant teacher positions.

Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods

Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms

Excellent communication and instructional skills

Ability to act as mediator between children

Cool-tempered, affable and dependable.
