Khaitan Education Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee the Foundation program encompassing Nursery, LKG, UKG, G1, and G2 levels. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in early childhood education with expertise in Nursery, LKG, and UKG, while proficiency in G1 and G2 is desirable. The incumbent will be responsible for curriculum development, assessment strategies, teacher performance evaluation, professional development, and parent engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

• • Develop a Curriculum Mapping Sheet aligned with the NCF2023 and IEYC curriculum.
  • Create Unit plans and Assessments that correspond to the Goals and Competencies specified in the curriculum mapping sheet.

Assessment Strategies:

• • Design Assessment Trackers to monitor the achievement of key Goals and Competencies for each student.
  • Ensure alignment of assessment trackers with the standards set forth in the Holistic Progress Card.

Teacher Performance Evaluation:

• • Conduct regular Lesson Observations at both school locations.
  • Develop a robust framework for evaluating teacher performance based on observed lessons and established criteria.

Professional Development:

• • Organize and facilitate teacher training workshops to enhance instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide targeted support to enhance the capacities of existing teachers.
  • Identify and recruit experts in Literacy and Numeracy to bolster the teaching team.

Parent Engagement:

• • Organize and conduct workshops for parents to enhance their understanding of the curriculum, assessment methodologies, and strategies to support their child’s learning journey.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in early childhood education, with demonstrated expertise in Nursery, LKG, and UKG levels.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development principles and educational frameworks such as NCF2023 and IEYC.
• Experience in designing and implementing effective assessment strategies.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of educators.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in conducting teacher training sessions and parent workshops is highly desirable.
