QUALIFICATION:

• B.Sc. – Nursing
• P.B.B.Sc
• M.Sc. Nursing would be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE:

0 – 2 years teaching experience in Nursing School

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Active participation in the formulation of the philosophy of the school
• Planning implementation and evaluation of the curriculum
• Preparation of course outline and lesson plans of subject/subjects assigned
• Plan clinical rotation and clinical teaching
• Supervision of students in the clinical field/ Community Health
• Plan teaching/ demonstration, setting up of laboratory for the assigned subject
• Plan, construct, administer and evaluate tests/exams
• Prepare students for Council/Board exams
• Give and evaluate student assignments
• Participate in working of various committees
• Maintain all records pertaining to students and the School
• Guidance and counseling of students
• Plan and arrange external lectures, educational visits
• Plan and organize the Community Health field for both urban and rural areas
• Maintain and order supplies
• Participate in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
• Participate actively in professional activities
• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time
