Kalvi’s first-of-its-kind work-integrated liberal engineering program in partnership with universities, focuses on nurturing big-picture thinking in students. The courses are selected carefully and approved by an academic council comprising of leading professors from various global institutions and whetted by an Industry Advisory Board consisting of experts from the technology industry.

We are looking for HIGHLY CREATIVE and DYNAMIC Videographer and Editor to create engaging and on-brand videos for a variety of media. The role includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualising and creating storylines, shooting videos and editing them. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects and flow of our ads, lectures and more. Your videos should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into videos. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to have you on our team.
Responsibilities

• Conceptualise videos based on requirements prepare rough drafts and present ideas

• Capture studio-quality photographs and video

• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing

• Use the appropriate themes and layouts for each video

• Work with copywriters, the marketing team and content creators to produce final design and test the videos across various media

• Amend videos after feedback to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements and Skills

• Prior video creation and editing experience using design software and technologies (such as Corel VideoStudio, Adobe Premiere and other relevant tools).

• Portfolio of videos shot and/or edited

• A keen eye for aesthetics and details

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

• Available for in office mode of work

• Proficiency in Tamil
