We are looking for a Content Writer, a partner to join our team and engage with our mission to change the higher education landscape of the country. We want associates who can ideate, innovate and create to reach new heights. There are no boundaries we are afraid to explore and no stones we won’t upturn to solve the current skill gap perpetuated by antiquated engineering curriculums. The Content Writer is “the voice” of an organization by writing web content that aligns with the brand and other marketing efforts. Candidates must have demonstrated writing experience, professional and/or academic.

Responsibilities

• Implement content development strategies by collaborating with other teams
• Optimizing current copy on the website and social channels
• Writing new SEO-friendly copy for pages/blogs on the website
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Content, infographic and promotion creation (Social/Digital Media)

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of SEO
• Creativity & resourcefulness
• Extreme attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Flexibility to evolve strategies quickly & effectively
• Research skills
• Adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
• Should have experience in short and long-form content

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 years of experience as a creative writer
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Having experience in writing social media and email engagement content is a plus
