Job Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Library Manager to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service and innovative programs for our young patrons and their families.
Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the library, including scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring smooth workflow. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support library staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality service and a positive work environment. Program Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute educational and recreational programs for children and families, including storytimes, book clubs, and special events. Collection Management: Maintain and develop the library’s collection of books and resources, including selecting new materials and organizing inventory. Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community groups, and other organizations to promote library services and foster community involvement. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to library patrons, addressing their needs and resolving any issues or concerns.
