About Company:Kadal, a Tulu word for ocean nests in a quaint town of Malpe close to Udupi on the shores of South Canara. We run a surf school by the beaches of Malpe in the Arabian sea which was established in 2019. The team is head coached by Tanvi Jagadish, who is the first Indian woman to compete in Stand-up Paddling World Cup and is an ISA-certified coach for surfing and stand-up paddling. The surf schools conduct morning & evening water sessions for students in surfing, kayaking & stand-up paddling. Tanvi is born and brought up by the shores and being an ocean athlete herself she began assisting to coach in 2009 at the age of 9. The school is incubated by ‘Place Explore’ in 2021 and since then the journey has been immense.

About the Internship:Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Post on social media platforms and keep it active

2. Analyze the data

3. Plan the posting

4. Handle basic editing of videos on the Instagram app

5. Conduct research

6. Meet the students who come to the surf school

The social media platforms you will be working on are as follows – Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
