Program Overview
The “Discover You” program, developed by Josh Talks in collaboration with Marwadi University, is designed to guide high school students through their pivotal career decision moments post their 10th and 12th grades. This comprehensive, phased approach helps students identify and pursue a career path that aligns with their passions and strengths.
Your Role
We are seeking experienced Career Counselors to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive guidance and support to high school students navigating the crucial decisions of their career paths following their 10th and 12th grades. The ideal candidate will excel in one-on-one counseling sessions, helping students to explore and understand their interests, strengths, and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions to assist students in understanding their strengths and aligning their interests with suitable career paths.
- Create and maintain motivating and informative content for the program’s website and interactive sessions.
- Work closely with schools, Josh Talks speakers, and Marwadi University alumni to coordinate and deliver program content effectively.
- Collect feedback from students and educators to refine counseling techniques and workshop content.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in educational counseling or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse audience.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the designated regions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Track the number of students attending workshops and accessing online resources.
- Measure the effectiveness of counseling sessions through student feedback and follow-up outcomes.
