About the college:

J.K.K. Rangammal Charitable Trust, Kumarapalayam was founded by a Philanthropist, Kodaivallal J.K.K.Nattrajah to provide quality education to the economically downtrodden rural people. J.K.K.Nattrajah College of Arts and Science was started in 1974, with Love, Learn and Serve as its motto. It is situated on the National Highways-544 between Salem and Coimbatore, Kumarapalayam.

Our faculty members are endowed with high potential and academic excellence. Teaching and administrative members are involved in the upliftment of students through education, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Description:

• To supervise and co‑ordinate the work of the Library System
• To provide instructions to new members in the use of the Library.
• To evaluate and maintain library strategies & policies that support the achievement of the educational aims and objectives of the College.
• To contribute an educational function guiding research scholars of the college and Visiting Scholars from other Colleges.
• To develop a library management plan to improve the library’s efficiency.

. To Response the requests from students, staff, and other library users

• Strong IT skills and familiarity with databases and the internet.
• Use ICT to promote, market, and develop the role of library services within the College

Qualification:

1. Bachelor or Master in Library Science ( B.Lib.Sc./M.Lib.Sc)

2. Bachelor or Master in Library and Information Science( BLIS/MLIS)
