Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced English Professor to join our team at the Department of Science and Humanities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering coursework in English language and literature. They will also be responsible for conducting research and publishing papers in their area of expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver coursework in English language and literature
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, exams, and other evaluation methods
• Conduct research and publish papers in relevant journals
• Engage in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve the quality of education and student outcomes
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new course offerings and programs
• Mentor students and provide guidance on academic and career matters

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in English Literature or a related field is required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching English at the undergraduate or graduate level
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• A demonstrated commitment to quality education and student success
• A track record of research and publication in relevant journals
• Experience in implementing innovative teaching methods and course designs

Eligibility :

• English Literature
• Creative Writing
• Linguistics or a related field are eligible for this position.
