Prosthodontists are specialized in replacement of missing teeth and associated oral structures by determining the type of required dental prostheses. They have ability tomanufacture and customizethe dental prostheses and fitting them in patients’ mouths. They can also treat temporomandibular disorders and various issues associated with damaged and problematic teeth.

The Prosthodontist responsibilities include identifying and treating the main cause of deteriorating oral health, repairing patient’s dentures, as well as prosthodontic management of TMJ disorders.

Job Duties & Requirements:

SKILLS:

• Sound knowledge of fixed and removable prosthodontics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Detail-oriented.

Educational:

The Candidate should be graduated in any one of the below-mentioned degrees

1.Master of Dental Surgery-MDS-Prosthodontics

2.MDS along with Diploma courses in Implantology

3.MDS along with Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics

4.MDS along with Fellowship in Implant dentistry

5.MDS along with Fellowship or Diploma in Digital Smile design

6.MDS along with Diploma in CAD CAM

7.MDS along with Diploma or Fellowship inAesthetic dentistry
