Job Description :

• The specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics focuses on the alignment of teeth and dental arches: the maxilla and mandible.
• Educate on diagnosing, preventing, intercepting, and correcting malocclusions and other orofacial abnormalities in developing or mature children and adults.
• Mentor students practicing as orthodontic specialists in outpatient settings.
• The treatment of cleft lip and palate, periodontal problems, and temporomandibular problems with an interdisciplinary approach.
• Students should be formed into future dental care workers by teaching them patience, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment.
• To collaborate with national and international research committees for advanced research work.

Job Duties & Requirements:

SKILLS:

• Teaching Experience.
• Perform research and publish in the areas of interest.
• Managed day-to-day activities of the laboratory, ordering and ensuring student research projects were progressing.

Educational:

• The Candidate should be graduated in any one of the below-mentioned degrees:

1. Master of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics).

2. M.D.S. (Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics).

3. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) with Ph.D. in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics).

• Candidate must have knowledge of Dental Practice in the Clinical Field.
• The candidate done a Diploma in Dental Surgery (Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics) with BDS is also eligible.
• Having done Fellowship courses will also be an advantage.

1. Fellowship in Aesthetic Dentistry.

2. Fellowship in Research Methodology.

3. Fellowship in Laser Dentistry.

4. Fellowship in Dental Implantology.
