Your Impact:

Our Asia Pacific & Middle East (APME) Marketing & Communications team seeks an Internal Communications Specialist. The role can be based in Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore. It will support our broader Asia Pacific team in managing the planning, development, and delivery of strategic and engaging internal communications. The core function of this role is to promote the internal Jacobs brand and help drive a positive culture of productivity, caring and inclusion in line with organisational strategy and values.

Key responsibilities:

Proactive Content Creation: Take the lead in crafting compelling written content for internal communications, including but not restricted to announcements, newsletters, and executive messages, maintaining a consistent and engaging tone.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates seamlessly with various teams and departments, ensuring the alignment of internal messaging with broader organisational objectives.

Multiple Stakeholder Management: Skilfully manages relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensuring communication strategies resonate with different audiences and meet their unique needs.

Project Management: Efficiently plan, execute, and oversee internal communication projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational priorities. Ability to multi-task.

Change Management Communication: Play a key role in communicating organisational changes, providing clear and empathetic messaging to enhance employee understanding and buy-in.

Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis plans, ensuring timely and transparent communication during challenging situations.

Developing Briefing Notes, Talking Points, and PowerPoints: Create comprehensive and polished briefing materials, talking points, and presentations, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging for various internal communication purposes.

Formats and Channels Mastery: Possess a nuanced understanding of various communication formats and channels, selecting and deploying them strategically to maximise the impact and effectiveness of internal communications.

Technology Integration: Leverage communication tools and platforms to enhance the efficiency and reach of internal communications, staying abreast of industry trends for continuous improvement.

Measurement and Feedback:

Establish mechanisms for measuring the effectiveness of internal communications, gathering feedback, and adapting strategies to enhance engagement continuously.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The core function of this role is to promote the internal Jacobs brand and help drive a positive culture of productivity, caring and inclusion in line with organisational strategy and values. Should have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in internal communications, demonstrating a proven track record of impactful communication strategies, preferably within B2B professional services.
