2. Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical
development.
3. Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers about their child’s progress and development.
4. Assessing and documenting children’s learning and development.
5. Using a variety of teaching strategies and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
6. Collaborating with other teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure continuity and coherence in the curriculum.
7. Ensuring that all classroom activities and interactions are conducted in a respectful and professional manner.
8. Maintaining accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and academic progress.
9. Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in pre-primary education.
10. Adhering to all school policies, including those related to safety, health, and hygiene.
