Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. • Knowing your students, spend time, understand their temperament, their skills, and their strengths, and work with them accordingly

2. • Conducting art therapy classes with students using diverse types of visual art, including drawing, sculpting, painting, ceramics, and clay modeling

3. • Discussing students’ artworks with them to evaluate the meaning and emotions behind the artworks

4. • Developing suitable art therapy ideas for students based on their needs, objectives, and preferred forms of artistic expression

5. • Supervising art therapy students and interns

6. • Maintaining detailed records of students’ progress as well as observations made during art therapy sessions in a computer database

7. • Maintaining the curriculum according to their class standards

Requirements:

1. • Master’s degree/bachelor’s degree/diploma in art/ psychology or any other with a passion to work for society

2. • Sound knowledge of visual art/ excel/word, MS office

3. • Excellent observational and counseling skills

4. • Effective communication skills

5. The student is empathetic and creative with innovative ideas

6. • Introduce techniques and procedures for painting, sketching, designing, and sculpting

7. Impart knowledge on the art through lectures and audio-video aids
