Responsibilities

• Recruit students by developing alumni networks, visiting high schools and college admission events, and initiating campaigns to induce students to attend the institution.
• Review prospective student applications and interview prospective students.
• Follow up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information.
• Contact applicant references to verify information included on resumes, letters of recommendation, and applications.
• Work collaboratively with other admission counsellors to review applicants, make final admission decisions, and send out admission offers.
• Conduct research, design questionnaires for current students, analyse questionnaire results, and lead focus groups to adjust recruiting strategies and materials.
• Maintain recruiting operations by following policies and procedures and report needed changes.
• Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changes.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, and keeping current with legal guidelines and requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of students’ progress toward their goals and next steps in the college admissions process.
• Create a resource-rich environment for students and teachers as it pertains to college readiness and educational and career planning.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to assist students with educational and career planning.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Degree in counselling and State license in counselling preferred.

· 2 Years counselling experience is required.

Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
