Infor is seeking a Software Developer to join the IBM i/I series team that develops, maintains, and enhances ERPA XA product. The developer should be a dynamic professional who can join our IBMi development team. Develop and deliver codes for the work assigned in accordance with time and quality standards.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or related field preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience on IBM i development and support.
• Should have strong hands-on experience on RPG, SQL RPGLE, CLLE and Free format RPG,
• DB2 for IBM i, DDS and SQL
• Good to have experience in Java.
• Experience with ERP XA and/or IDF preferred.
• Good communication skills and comfortability speaking in small group settings.
• Proven experience in software development methodologies
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Self-teacher in acquiring technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, and debugging software
• Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing software.
• Review and resolve software-related findings and make required changes.
• Regularly attend team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and provide status updates.
• Improve performance of existing software
• Work closely with the product team and QA to ensure product is well-tested and updates are properly deployed.
• Write and maintain design specification documents.
• Investigate product functionalities, new technologies or 3rd party software for areas to improve current product.
• Estimate, prioritize and refine tasks during the Sprint Planning event.
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback during Sprint Retrospective event.
• Be open to take on other projects and responsibilities as necessary.
• Be able to impart knowledge on others to build their careers.
