Job description
Software Support Manager needed to lead and grow a team of support analysts responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Infor ERPA XA product on the IBMi / iSeries platform. This role requires a motivated self-starter professional who can thrive in a constantly evolving environment. As a Software Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects, managing & and growing the team, managing technology in projects, and providing guidance to the team.
Essential Duties:
Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect disciplines. Executes financials, business planning, organizational priorities and workforce.
24/7 on-call coverage on rotation is required.
Standard working hours are 8 AM Eastern to 5 PM Eastern time zone /5:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or related field preferred.
· 6 years of software support experience.
· Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills; effectively communicate and collaborate with all areas of support/development and product management; ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
Preferred:
· Experience in support of ERP Systems
· Experience with ERP XA and/or IDF.
· Experience with managing teams of 12 or more analysts.
· Good communication skills and comfortability speaking in small group settings.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Experience and ability to work effectively in tools Microsoft Teams/Support Portal and Excel
· Ability to multi-task; Self-teacher in acquiring new skills.
