Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Manager Placements/ Asst. Manager Placements/ Placement Officer.

Experience : 2-6 yrs

Job Location: Pune

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. To build association with HR and technical heads of companies in order to find career prospects for Master level students of the institute.

2. To maintain and develop a database of prospective employers for internships and final placements.

3. To design and organize Pre-Placement Training Programs (PPTs) including resume writing sessions, group discussions and mock interview sessions etc.

4. To bring companies to campus and conduct campus recruitment drive.

5. To correspond to prospective companies for interview date and schedule of events.

6. To receive the recruits and provide necessary inputs about the college and to co- ordinate for smooth functioning at various facilities (interview halls, written test halls)

7. To collect the Recruiter s Feedback and recommendations regarding students recruitment process and to correspond with them immediately after the interview.

8. To organize and conduct professional networking events for all partners -students, alumni, recruiters, and faculty.

9. To compile student internship and placements details and prepare a comprehensive report in order to present it to the Directorate on regular basis.

10. Screen Potential Candidates: Coordinating with employers, placement officers run background checks on students who seek internships to verify students have the prerequisite education and meet all additional requirements for these companies positions.

11. Placement officers use their knowledge of job trends and the employer network they have built to bring a variety of employers to the school for a successful event.

12. Advise students about placement choice (including future career development and guidance) and how to locate a placement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates should have experience in Management educational institutes.

Requirements:

  • B.E., MBA, or Relevant Equivalent Degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a placement role, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
