The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) is a not-for-profit bilateral business Chamber that fosters and promotes mutually beneficial business relations between India and France. It has five offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad and represents a large network on 650 member companies. It is currently the most active bilateral chamber of commerce in the country.
IFCCI is looking to hire a Head – HR and Recruitment Services which is a key department at the Chamber.
Position– Full time
Location– New Delhi or Mumbai

About HR and Recruitment Department
This is a key department and offering of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We offer our member companies complete Human Resource Management solutions, enabling them to set up and manage their teams in India. This department works hand in hand with the Business Support Services division.
Key activities:
Recruitment and Team Building:
– Assisting Indian and French companies with their hiring needs in India:
o Understanding the company’s recruitment mandate, curating a tailor made proposal with proposal of shortlisted candidates, coordination of interviews, advisory in terms of remuneration and contract management, assistance until recruitment.
o Maintaining a database of French and Indian nationals
– Trainings and Workshops:
o Organise regular training programs and workshops for member companies and clients with a range of experts on different topics (intercultural, doing business in India, etc)
o Building a program of training and workshops for members throughout the year along with academic institutions
– HR Committee:
o Managing the HR Committee of the Chamber which includes over 100 HR Heads of member companies. The department works closely with the committee leadership to ensure a yearly action plan with events, meetings, knowledge sharing and other engagements
– Client Relations
o Sustain relationships with existing clients and develop relationships with potential/new clients
o Plan regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and improve IFCCI’s HR & recruitment services
– HR Conclave:
o Planning and execution of the yearly flagship IFCCI HR Conclave. The department works closely with the committee leadership to and the IFCCI events team to plan and organisation the HR conclave, raise sponsorships, and manage the entire coordination of the event.
– HR Advisory and Operations:
o Advisory to new companies in India on their HR processes and operations in line with local compliances. For eg. Building HR policies, handbooks, engagement policies, POSH, etc.
o Advisory and implementation of HR processes and operations in line with local compliances to IFCCI and its team
– Immigration and Relocation Services:
o An on-demand service where the department works closely with its member companies and industry experts for offering this service.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
The Head HR and Recruitment Services will report directly to the Director General of IFCCI.
His/ Her key responsibilities will include:
– Managing the overall operations of the department and team:
o Responsible for the Department’s successful operations and execution of yearly action plan.
o Responsible for achieving yearly targets of the department
o Managing a team of two persons to ensure that the objectives and roadmap are fulfilled.
o Setting objectives for the HR team and ensuring execution of plans for the department
o Ensure smooth coordination of HR related activities with other IFCCI departments (business support services, events, etc…)
o Ensuring that the CV database and client reporting sheets are maintained and updated
o Promoting the services of the HR and Recruitment department to new clients.
o Building and maintaining relations with HR heads and building the HR Committee action plan and execution
o Business development with clients for promoting the department’s services
o Business development with academia and higher education institutions for developing the training activities of the department.
o Identifying new partners, trainers or organisations for building the offering and services of the department.
o Grow the revenues of the HR and Recruitment services department
Communication:
➢ Coordination all communication relating to the department to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that all communication tools (brochures, presentations) are regularly updated on the website and social media.
➢ Prepare specific communication campaigns with the communications team.
Skills and Experience required:
➢ Graduation or a Post Graduation in Business Management/HR
➢ Clear & Written Communication skills
➢ Proficiency in English and French
➢ PR and Marketing skills for business development and maintaining relationships with member companies & non member companies
➢ More than 5 years of experience in fields of communications, human resources, marketing, business development
➢ Managerial skills and experience (not mandatory)
➢ Team spirit
➢ Autonomous
➢ Attention to detail
