Indira Priyadarshini School, J. P. Nagar 3rd Phase, is seeking Science Teachers for its Primary and Middle School .

The right candidate will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and must see teaching as a long-term career.

Following skills and traits are REQUIRED:

• Energetic, self-driven, highly motivated individuals with high level of integrity and commitment.
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching Science at the Primary/Middle/Secondary levels in reputed State Board or CBSE institutions.
• Well-versed in using software applications (MS Office Suite/Google Docs/Teams/Google Meet) and smart-boards..

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a Science related area from a reputed university is required.
• BEd (Science) is desired.
• 1 (minimum) to 15 years of experience teaching Science in Primary/Middle grades in reputed institutions (State Board/CBSE).

(Retired teachers with excellent subject knowledge can also apply, and will be considered for part-time positions based on role-interest and fitness).

Responsibilities:

• Day to Day academic responsibilities for Primary and Middle Grades (1st to 8th standard)..
• Giving and grading assignments, homework and tests.
• Overseeing students during recess, lunch and other activities.
• Talking to parents about their children’s progress.
• Driving project-based learning initiatives in Primary and Middle grades.

Additional Responsibilities include:

• Diligently attending our curriculum workshops and preparing active learning based lesson plans that adhere to IPS standards.
• Contributing to improvements in our curriculum and lesson plans.
• Designing teaching aids and resources as required.
• Incorporating innovative and learner-centred teaching techniques to promote student engagement and performance.
• School-level initiatives as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From ₹20,000.00 per month
