ISB is looking for candidates with creative, scientific, and quantitative capabilities and excellent communication skills. We seek applications from motivated individuals to work as Research Associates at ISB. Research Associates (RA) generally go on to pursue Ph.D. after working at ISB for 1-2 years.

There is one RA position available in Statistics with Professor Pallavi Basu.

Requirements

This is NOT a data science position. This position requires an understanding, implementation, and development of statistical methodologies.

The candidate will assist the faculty in their ongoing research work, which includes the development of statistical methods, designing algorithms, and conducting numerical experiments.

The position is ideally suited for a candidate targeting to apply for strong Statistics Ph.D. programs.

Skills and Qualifications

A postgraduate degree with significant Statistics, Mathematics, and Programming coursework.
