Head / Director – Academics for a leading EdTech organization in Bangalore

Our clients seek a highly accomplished professional to Head the Academic function nationally. Will lead program delivery with a large (500+) team spread across India. Must have strong strategic & operational experience in Academics, including an excellent teaching background. Possess a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and leadership abilities to ensure the successful execution of the ambitious programs of the organization.

The incumbent will report to the CEO.

Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.

KRAs

1. Ensure quality and standardization across a centralized-distributed model

2. Initiate the latest frameworks in research, pedagogy, curriculum, industry, and assessments

3. Identify, develop, and introduce new academic programs as per industry needs

4. Manage a large faculty team of 500+

5. Student program management; support in student acquisition

6. Industry Networking to identify new programs and student placement opportunities

7. Collaborate with faculties on research, PhD & paper presentations at seminars.

Candidate Profile

1. PhDs with 10-15 years of experience in teaching and administration

2. Should have worked in leadership roles in a learning environment, preferably at a university level

3. Experience in the formulation of curriculum and course matrix

4. Understanding of UGC/AICTE norms

5. Experience in driving industry–academia collaboration.
