Job Summary: The Academic Counsellor – Telephonic Sales is responsible for providing guidance and support to prospective students, promoting and selling academic programs offered by the educational institution through telephonic communication. The incumbent will be required to possess excellent communication and persuasion skills, have the ability to work well in a team and be comfortable using technology to manage leads and student data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting outbound calls to potential students to provide guidance and advice on academic programs.
• Building and managing a pipeline of prospective students through effective lead management.
• Promoting academic programs, explaining their benefits and providing guidance on the enrollment process.
• Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Managing and updating student data using appropriate technology tools.
• Providing excellent customer service to potential students through all stages of the enrollment process.
• Collaborating with other teams to improve the student experience and maximize sales performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing or related fields.
• Proven experience in sales or counseling in the education sector is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with prospective students.
• Ability to manage leads and student data through technology tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
