Job Brief

We are looking for an Academic Content Developer to join our team and create academic content in the format of presentations for our courses.

Academic Content Developer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types, and creating and proofreading content before delivery along with creating content for multiple platforms including website, email, and WhatsApp under the guidance of the reporting manager.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality presentations that help in training our students in important digital marketing concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Develop and generate high-quality educational material in the form of presentations focusing on digital marketing topics to meet key learning objectives.
  • Conduct research over the internet (combining online sources, interviews and studies) and develop academic contents accordingly.
  • Work closely with in-house & external subject matter experts to ensure accuracy & relevance.
  • Conduct own research to further understand learners’ requirements.
  • Ensure that learning material is concise, easy to follow, and well-formatted.
  • Be involved in curriculum development and educational material development activities.
  • Be innovative and creative in the use of language, graphics, animations, interactions, audio, video, and any other elements used in the presentations.
  • Design the content & presentations keeping in mind the format (online/offline) & duration of training sessions.
  • Ensure that the content is up-to-date by researching the latest trends and best practices across digital platforms.
  • Attend classroom training at regular intervals to understand how the content is being delivered and make incremental changes to the modules based on learnings.
  • Innovate and improve on presentation building skills to enhance the learning experience.
  • Create MCQs, assignments & other test material to be used as post-test material basis the module created.
  • Proofread and edit before training sessions.
  • Submit work to manager for input and approval.
  • Coordinate with various departments as and when required to ensure all-round consistency.

Requirements:

  • Should be extremely comfortable with making PowerPoint presentations
  • Should be sensitive towards the ability of students and beginners to grasp new concepts
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Familiarity with marketing web publications
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask & meet deadlines
  • Must have done a Digital Marketing course
