A dynamic and responsible candidate is sought to exercise the role of Vice Principal in our institution

Responsibilities

• Liaising with various government departments and non-governmental organizations and forwarding any issues or suggestions to the Principal promptly.
• Helping with the regular admin-related activities in adherence to the rules and regulations of the School Management.
• Attending and participating in meetings with staff, parents, and other officials.
• Planning and organizing school events and field trips and assisting with various committees.
• Establishing rapport and maintaining relationships with parents, staff, and students in accordance with the directions suggested by the Principal.
• Sitting in on disciplinary hearings and providing advice for at-risk students.
• Updating student and school records.
• Remaining active and visible on field trips and during school functions.
• Performing any other official duties as and when assigned by the Principal.
• Handling classes (as allotted by the Principal) for students.

Qualifications

• A masters degree in Sciences (Physics/ mathematics is highly preferred) and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education.
• Extensive teaching experience (preferably Physics/ Mathematics)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of budgeting and management.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• The ability to follow instructions but also come up with original ideas.
• A high degree of professionalism.
