Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for an IGCSE Geography Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective Geography lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum for IGCSE students. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, evaluating student progress through assessments, and fostering critical thinking, analysis, and a global perspective in learners. Active participation in school events, collaboration with colleagues, and continuous professional development are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Certified teaching qualifications or equivalent credentials to work as a Qualified Teacher
- Proficient in Lesson Planning with the ability to create structured, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans
- Strong knowledge of Geography and experience teaching the IGCSE curriculum
- Excellent ability in Teaching and Education methodology with a student-centered approach
- Effective communication, classroom management skills, and commitment to fostering students’ holistic development
- Experience with Cambridge Assessment International Education and its methodologies is a strong advantage
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Education, Geography, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus
