Position Title: Trainer (Insurance Process)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, develop training curricula, and create engaging materials for various insurance processes such as claims processing, underwriting, customer service, and policy administration.
2. Training Delivery: Conduct interactive training sessions using a variety of methods including classroom instruction, virtual training platforms, workshops, and simulations. Ensure that training sessions are informative, interactive, and aligned with adult learning principles.
3. New Hire Onboarding: Facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, providing them with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills required for their roles in the insurance BPO environment.
4. Ongoing Training and Development: Continuously assess training needs and proactively update training materials and programs to address evolving business requirements, industry trends, and regulatory changes. Deliver refresher training sessions and advanced skill development workshops as needed.
5. Performance Evaluation: Implement mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and monitor the progress of trainees. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to enhance training outcomes.
6. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure that training programs align with quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements within the insurance BPO domain.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations. Generate regular reports on training metrics, including completion rates, performance improvement, and training impact on operational effectiveness.
8. Subject Matter Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the insurance domain. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for trainees and colleagues, providing insights and guidance on insurance processes, products, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or any related field.
- Proven experience working in the insurance BPO industry, with a deep understanding of insurance processes and operations.
- Previous experience in training and development, with a focus on designing and delivering training programs in a corporate setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of learners and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using training development tools, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual training platforms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data to measure training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
