Who are we?

We are a nascent, pre-funding, startup company in the space of climate change mitigation. We are currently working in a stealth mode and looking to build our initial tech team. We are here to change the way people behave and care about the climate. When the platform is ready, we aim to reach millions (or hopefully billions) of people around the world and bring them together in the efforts to mitigate climate risk. We firmly believe that how we act now, would impact the way the world is in the future.

What are we looking for?

We are currently looking for energetic & enthusiastic cloud & software development specialist who has a passion for web application development and willing to put in the hard-work in developing a world class web-app product with a dynamic startup with a potential to have an impact on the lives of billions of people across the world. You should have a curious mind, come up with innovative and out-of-the-box solutions for complex problems. Most importantly, you should be passionate about environment. At Sprede we are dealing with one of the worlds most difficult problem – Climate Change Mitigation – and therefore we expect you to have a strong technical acumen to deal and resolve problems.

Experience required?

1-2 years experience.

Web Application Development

Strong OOPS concepts

Data Structures and algorithms

Azure cloud services and concepts

Strong understanding of the SOLID principles.

Understanding of common design patterns.

ASP.NET Web API

Entity Framework(EF Core preferred)

Consuming and Building RESTful web services

understanding of JSON

Experience in working with SQL databases (ideally with SQL Server) – able to work with both ORM(EF) and raw SQL

Visual Studio or VS Code IDE

Ability to independently establish schedules and priorities, and multi-task.

Fast learner. Not looking for someone who knows everything, but should be able to learn new tech and libraries fast as and when needed.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with complex architectural/design patterns.

Familiarity with patterns of distributed systems.

Familiarity with Version Control systems like Visual Studio Team Foundation Server or Git.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure/AWS.

Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Functions.

Familiarity with Microservices.

2. FrontEnd Dev

Skills/experience required:

Strong understanding and proficiency in Javascript.

Experience using SPA frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, etc.

Understanding of CSS preprocessors like SASS, LESS, etc.

Have a basic sense of aesthetics in UI.

Nice to have:

Understanding and experience with ES6.

Familiarity with automation tools like Webpack.

Familiarity with Python

You will be part of the initial design team working on an innovative web-app from an initial stage and enjoy the thrill of being associated with a dynamic startup.
