The Role: The ideal candidate will work on multiple projects that will impact the entire engineeringorganization. Adapting to change and adopting new technologies, they will constantly be solvingnew challenges as they arise. They are passionate about leading initiatives and deliveringresults. The work will be focused on enabling our engineering teams to build, test, and releasefaster. Minimum Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship,or work experience.
• 4+ years software development experience with microservice development using SpringBoot (JOOQ, Flyway, Gradle, etc.).
• 4+ years engineering experience with operations, design, and architecture of cloudinfrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in AWS technology stack (ECS, Containers, CloudFront, IAM, etc.)
• Experience building Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) systems(GitLab preferred)
• Experience with deployment automation/configuration management (Terraform preferred)
• Track record of building reusable scripts, tooling, and automation solutions
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
• Extensive experience deploying, operating, and debugging server software on Linux
• Experience with databases such as AuroraDB, DynamoDB, MySQL
• Experience working across teams and with remote teams
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills for interacting persuasively withproduct/design/business stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and

New Relic

• Experience with Kinesis, Kafka
• Knowledge of performance optimization approaches and technologies for web applications

• Master’s degree in Project Management or related technical field required
• 4+ years total project management experience, 2-3 of which must be in an IT or technicalenvironment.
• Professional experience in most of the following topics: project life cycles, systemsdevelopment life cycles, business processes related to project management.

• Manage program/project schedules and associated dependencies, identify possibleissues/risks/actions, and clearly work with key stakeholders to mitigate for them.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in the technology department
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelinesin these areas for others
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervisingdepartment teams
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamworkmentality
• Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
