SALARY: $61,828 to $86,372 per year (Pay Band 5) (Based on 37.5 hours per week)

Job Purpose

Learning and Development supports the mission and vision of Horizon Health Network by providing strategic leadership in the areas of learning and knowledge acquisition for Horizon employees. Learning and Development utilizes innovative strategies to build Horizon knowledge capacity in the areas of professional and clinical development, safe patient and employee workplace, second language training, values-based workplace, leadership development and facilitates access to evidence-based knowledge resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., human resources, education, instructional design, business), or Bachelors’ degree with equivalent experience.
• Degree or diploma in Adult Education
• A current knowledge of adult learning and learning strategy
• Experience with Leadership Development programs an asset
• Experience in change and project management an asset
• Experience in classroom-based and/or virtual learning facilitation
• Knowledge of learning technologies
• Ability to travel within the regional health authority
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Good work record.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.

As a Learning and Development Educator you will:
