QualificationsandSkills
- Minimumof a high school diploma or equivalent
- Provenexperience working with young children in a daycare or preschoolsetting
- Knowledge of child development andearly childhood education principles
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine lovefor children
- Basic first aid and CPRcertification (or willingness toobtain)
- Ability to create a fun and engaginglearningenvironment
RolesandResponsibilities
- Createa safe, clean, and stimulating environment forchildren
- Plan and implement developmentallyappropriate activities and lesson plans
- Promotepositive behavior and social skills through modeling andguidance
- Provide basic care and support forchildren, including feeding, diapering, and naptime
- Monitor and document children’s progressand communicate withparents/guardians
- Collaborate with otherteachers and staff members to ensure the smooth operation of thedaycare center
- Attend staff meetings, trainingsessions, and professional developmentopportunities
