Job Summary
The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for setting up and maintenance of accurate process cost information, reconciliation of standard costs to actual costs, maintenance of perpetual inventory system, participating in the month end close and budgeting process, . This position will be responsible for developing/maintaining an effective cost accounting system to reduce cost and improve overall profitability.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities.
Process Cost accounting responsible for the accurate reporting of Cost of Goods Manufactured.
Performs regular cycle counts to correct inventory misstatements.
Monthly reconciliation and updating of standard costs to actual costs
Maintenance of a perpetual inventory system.
Provide account analysis for assigned accounts and other accounts as necessary.
Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting system.
Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost.
Costing and Pricing Experience
Any other duties as assigned.
Education Details
Desired Candidate Profile
Leading costing and MIS team and preparing costing and MIS reports.
Experience in MS office (Excel power points etc) preparation of budget and variance analysis, experience in COPA is added advantage and analytical skills.
