Job Title:AccountsExecutive

ReportingTo:DFM

Accountingand FinancialManagement:

  • Performdaily accounting tasks including journal entries ledger postingsand reconciliation using TallyPrime.
  • Maintainand update financial records ensuring accuracy and compliance withaccountingstandards.

StudentConcessionManagement:

  • Processand verify applications for studentconcessions.
  • Ensureall concessions are accurately recorded and reflected in thefinancialsystem.
  • Communicatewith unit staff for anyqueries

AfterSchoolActivities and Extra/CocurricularCollections:

  • Manageand track payments for afterschool activities and ensure allcollections are properlyrecorded.
  • Coordinatewith activity coordinators to maintain uptodate records of studentparticipation andpayments.
  • Prepareand issue receipts for collections and handle any related financialinquiries.

AttendanceRegisterRatification:

  • Verifyand ratify attendance registers to ensure accuracy andcompliance.
  • Coordinatewith teachers and administrative staff to resolve anydiscrepancies.
  • Maintainupdated attendance records in the financial system asrequired.

CoordinationandSupport:

  • Collaboratewith various departments/units to ensure smooth financialoperations.
  • Addressand resolve any financial discrepancies or issuespromptly.

SecondarySupport for PurchaseFunction:

  • Providesecondary support to the purchaseteam
  • Assistin the procurement of goods and services ensuring timely andcosteffectivepurchasing.
  • Helpevaluate and select suppliers based on quality price andservice.
  • Prepareand process purchase orders track deliveries and manage vendorrelationships.
  • Ensureproper documentation and recordkeeping for all purchasingactivities.
  • Coordinatewith various departments to gather purchase requirements and ensuretimelyfulfillment.

Qualifications:

oBachelors degreein Accounting Finance Business Administration or a relatedfield.

o12yrs experiencein accounting and purchasing preferably in an academicsetting.

oProficiency inTally Prime and MicrosoftExcel.

oStrongorganizational and time managementskills.

oExcellentattention to detail andaccuracy.

oEffectivecommunication and interpersonalskills.

Sr.Accounts Executive(Payables)

AccountsPayableManagement:

  • Overseeand manage the accounts payable function ensuring timely andaccurate processing of invoices andpayments.
  • Verifyand reconcile vendor statements and resolve anydiscrepancies.
  • Ensureall payment transactions are recorded accurately in TallyPrime.

StatutoryCompliance:

  • Ensuretimely and accurate filing of statutory returns such as PF ESI TDSGST andPT.
  • Stayupdated with the latest changes in statutory regulations and ensurecompliance.
  • Coordinatewith statutory auditors and provide necessary information foraudits.

BankReconciliation andPayments:

  • Prepareand review bank reconciliation statements (BRS) on a regularbasis.
  • Manageand process payments ensuring all payments are made in a timelymanner.
  • Overseepetty cash management and ensure properdocumentation.

CoordinationandSupport:

oCollaborate withvarious departments/units to ensure smooth financialoperations.

oAddress andresolve any financial discrepancies or issuespromptly.

BankRelatedCoordination:

oLiaise withbanks for various transactions and resolve any bankingissues.

oManage bankaccounts and ensure proper documentation for all bankingactivities.

oMonitor andmanage company cashflows.

TeamHandling:

    • Leadand manage a team of junior accountants providing guidance andsupport.
    • Delegatetasks effectively and ensure team members meet theirtargets.
    • Conductperformance evaluations and identify trainingneeds

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a relatedfield.
  • Minimumof 35 years of experience in accountspayable statutory compliance and teamhandling.
  • Proficiencyin Tally Prime and MicrosoftExcel.
  • Strongunderstanding of statutory compliances including PF ESI TDS GST andPT.
  • Excellentorganizational and time managementskills.
  • Stronganalytical and problemsolvingabilities.
  • Effectivecommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Certificationin Tally Prime and advanced Excelskills.
  • Priorexperience in a senior accountingrole.
  • Familiaritywith other accounting software andtools.
  • Abilityto work independently and manage ateam.
