Health Basix Hiring For Psychological Counsellor at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Full Time

The requirement is immediate. Positions are open on a full-time basis currently. The applicant must be willing to travel to the school as the work is on-site.

Roles:

· The School Counsellor and Special Educator will visit the School during school hours and provide their services to students and staff. Some of the core duties include:

· conducting well-being workshops for students and staff

· conduct sessions on social and emotional learning and help students deal with issues like anxiety, stress, time management, bullying etc.

· conduct teacher training on identifying learning/behavioural issues of students and initiate student counselling for identified students

· observe and identify the learning gaps/behaviour concern of a child during class

· The counsellor will discuss all the cases (class observation details) with the principal/HM for further process and schedule meeting with the parents to discuss concerns related to the child

· conduct remedial session/therapy sessions for the child as and when needed

· Counsellor / Special Educator will conduct a training session for the teachers and provide tools to tackle special needs children (hyperactive, sensitive, ADHD, reading or writing difficulties etc.)

· Counsellor / Special Educator will conduct one-to-one parent training sessions as per the requirement

· The counsellor / Special Educator will maintain data records and adhere to strict confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

Counsellors and Special Educators have a master’s degree in Psychology/ B.Ed in Special Education.

Two years of work experience

Ability to fluently communicate with students, staff, principal and parents of the school.
