We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help us take the operations of HCLSoftware Support to the next level. HCLSoftware provides solutions for Secure DevOps, Data Management, Automation, Commerce and Marketing, Mainframe, among others. HCLSoftware Customer Support delivers its service to corporate clients worldwide from many locations around the globe. The successful candidate will lead a team that develops internal solutions and uses AI to deidentify and understand the data produced in handling support cases.
Your profile:
You master Python and Deep Learning. You enjoy using the latest trends in AI and specifically NLP to solve real world problems based on large data sets. You have experience in handling data in compliance with Data privacy laws (such as GDPR, HIPAA etc.) and strict security standards (to help maintain ISO 27001 certification).
You love teaching and you can coach a squad to improve the engineers development and troubleshooting skills. You enjoy working with talented colleagues from all over the world. You possess strong communication skills and you can explain your approach to a variety of stakeholders. You are proud to contribute to process improvements that streamline the support workflow, help identify risks and give support engineers insights needed to better prioritize their work.
Skills:
We expect you to have the following qualifications and skills, or to be able to quickly fill any gaps:
– Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or similar.
– Extensive coding experience in Python, including object oriented and asynchronous programming and debugging of complex performance issues in distributed, containerized environments.
– Experience implementing Deep Learning pipelines for Natural Language Processing tasks such as NER, Sentiment Analysis, Summarization (RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers, BERT, GPT). You are fluent in Tensorflow/Keras or PyTorch.
– Experience deploying Deep Learning Pipelines in containerized environments, using Docker and Kubernetes (toolkits like KubeFlow are a plus).
– Experience with one or more relational databases such as Postgres SQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, HCL OneDB.
– Experience with NoSQL databases oriented to document search, such as OpenSearch or ElasticSearch
– Solid understanding of REST APIs design.
