Disaster Recovery / Continuity Management 1 IndiaDisaster Recovery / Continuity ManagementResponsibility Effectively manage and maintain the Customer Disaster Recovery Plans. Perform a gap analysis of Customer existing BC/DR Plans, if any, that exist on the Effective Date, and develop rationale and recommendations to address any perceived gaps. Develop and implement a Customer Disaster Recovery Plan using the Provider s best practices and standards for companies of similar industry, size, and services. Maintain and continually enhance the Customer Disaster Recovery Plan throughout Priorities for backups, business / IT Service continuity based on the priorities established by Customer Establish process that will determine and modify the list of mission-critical business processes and the applications to support them on an annual basis Establish joint test objectives with Customer designed to verify that Customer systems will be available within established timeframes and the Service Levels.Qualification BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education or experience Certification in IT security Three or more years of experience Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Five to seven years of in computing and information security, including experience with Internet technology and security issues Security areas of knowledge includes information security, desktop security, internet security, server systems security, database security, and platform-specific training in security setup, design and administration Experience should include security policy development, security education, network penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and compliance testing Knowledge of information security standards (e.g., ISO 17799/27002), rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality and desktop, server, application, database, network security principles for risk identification and analysis Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation), (1.) Depending on the work environment, the subject matter expert may lead or be an active participant of a work-group with the need for specialized knowledge. (2.) Meet all agreed-upon turnaround times for deliverables, deliverable reviews, or deliverable sign-off (3.) Understands, articulates and implements best practices related to his area of expertise. (4.) Provides guidance on how his area of capability can resolve an organizational need and actively participates in all phases of the solution life cycle. Design Solutions and best practices to meet clients objective. (5.) Work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data
